ABOUT
Mae Catt (she/they) is a 33-year-old multi-racial, queer, native of Los Angeles, and screenwriter. Mae has many cross-genre loves that have helped her write on a variety of prominent projects in both animation and live action.
Mae got her animation debut writing for the critically-acclaimed Young Justice. Since then, Mae has worked as a writer for Transformers: Cyberverse, Marvel’s Marvel Rising and Spider-man, and Nickelodeon’s Monster High. Mae has also worked in adult animation with Dragon Age: Absolution and The Legend of Vox Machina. Most recently, Mae has worked as a writer and story editor for Transformers: Earthspark.
Mae has also continued to work in the live action world, notably writing for the Quibi series, 50 States of Fright, produced by Sam Raimi. She’s currently working on a live action adaptation of SEGA’s cult classic, Comix Zone.
Mae collects comic books, cosplays, and contemplates what evil lurks in the hearts of men.
